Instance

From WAR Tumeroks: A Warhammer Online Wiki Guide

Instances are special areas that are entirely separate from the "main" game world, that are created for you and your group (along with an enemy group in the case of RvR scenarios) in the instant that you start a new scenario or instanced quest. Other players may join the exact same instance of their own while yours is in progress. This allows for many players to participate in the same type of event that can only support a smaller amount of players.
