Mob

A mob (short for mobile or mobile object) is a NPC whose primary purpose is to be killed for experience, quest objective, or loot. Mobs are also known as bad guys, beasts, enemies, monsters, non-player attackers, and opponents.

A player usually makes the initiation to kill the mobs but some mobs may be flagged as aggressive and may attack the player if within the "aggro" radius or commonly used as aggro range. The aggro range is dependant on the level of the player and the mob, and type of mob.
